An obsolete driveshaft and gear assembly, worn beyond service, with no manufacturer drawings available. Reverse-engineered from the physical component to produce a complete 3D model and a manufacturing-ready drawing package — restoring a part that would otherwise force a full unit replacement.

A high-pressure diesel fuel pump had to be stripped repeatedly during manufacturing development. The existing removal method damaged the pump front plate every time and took nearly seven minutes. MPD reverse-engineered the pump, designed a purpose-built extraction tool around it, and validated the disassembly path by motion simulation before a single part was cut.
